Unhealthy or Abusive Relationship?

Your abuser intimidates, isolates or degrades you through the use of threats of physical, emotional, financial, digital, and sexual abuse.

An abusive relationship doesn’t always mean there is physical violence. Abuse can take place in various forms and is rarely a one-off occurrence.

If you are concerned that someone you know or a loved one may be in an unhealthy or abusive relationship, it can be challenging to understand why they might continue to stay and not leave the relationship.

If you are concerned that a friend or family member may be in an unhealthy or abusive relationship, it can be challenging to find the right way to support them, and there’s no single approach to helping someone experiencing Domestic Abuse.
