Training & Workshops

Building Awareness, Changing Responses

At Anu Wicklow, we believe that preventing and responding to domestic abuse begins with awareness, education, and connection. We offer tailored training and workshops to a wide range of groups, from front-line professionals to schools, community organisations, and youth services. Our work focuses on building understanding of domestic abuse, supporting best practices in response, and promoting early intervention.

Who We Work With

We deliver workshops and training to: Statutory and non-statutory agencies.

Whether you’re a teacher, social worker, community leader, youth worker, or simply someone wanting to make a difference,we can support your learning and development..

What We Cover

Our sessions are interactive, up-to-date, and always tailored to your group’s needs. Topics include:

-Understanding the dynamics and impact of domestic abuse.
-Recognising the signs of coercive control and emotional abuse.
-Responding safely and effectively to disclosures.
-The role of interagency support and referrals.
-Working with young people – Healthy vs. unhealthy relationships, image-based abuse, and consent.
-Legal context, including Coco’s Law and protections for victims

We also develop custom content depending on the group’s focus, whether youth-focused, community led, or professional practice.

Why It Matters

Domestic abuse is complex, and no one agency can tackle it alone. Our training is rooted in prevention, early recognition, and collaborative response, so that no one falls through the cracks.

By educating professionals, supporting youth awareness, and strengthening community understanding, we aim to reduce harm and create safer pathways for those at risk.
