Bray Women’s Refuge

Bray Women’s Refuge is a safe and confidential place, where clients and their children can come in times of crisis. Our specialised team can help you find the following steps to get you back on your feet while in the refuge.

Our Services

Self-Referral
Clients who identify they are in an abusive relationship and would like support and someone to talk.
BWR
Clients will contact the refuge through the helpline, and from the helpline call, the key workers offer them the service provided by the outreach.
External Referrals
Any legal professional working with the client or families.

Remember: be mindful that clients referred to our service through this mechanism may not identify that they are in an abusive relationship.

“It might look like a building, however it’s a temporary safe home, it’s more than a roof over your head. It's a place to try help repair the emotional damage done by abusive men/partners/family. It can offer therapeutic support and legal advice, all in a safe, caring non judgemental environment.”

– Carmel, Refuge Social Care Team Member
