We are here to RECOGNISE and acknowledge your situation.
We are here to SUPPORT your decisions about your life.
We are here to work with you to EMPOWER to achieve the best outcome for you.
We Meet You Where You Are
You don’t need to have left the relationship, made a decision, or know exactly what you want. Our outreach team offers gentle, non-judgmental support wherever you are emotionally and physically.
We can meet:
• At one of our Clinics around County Wicklow – Bray, Greystones, Kilcoole, Wicklow Town, Arklow,
Rathdrum and Carnew.
• In a safe space in the community.
• Over the phone, whatever feels least overwhelming.
You are in control. We are here to walk alongside you, not lead the way for you.
What Support Looks Like
Our Domestic Abuse Support workers are trained to:
• Listen with care and without judgment.
• Help you feel safe, seen, and believed.
• Support your decisions, without pressure or expectation.
• Explain the cycle of abuse and help you understand what you’re feeling (you are not “too sensitive” or “going mad”).
• Help you build a safety plan, when and if you’re ready.
• Support practical needs like housing, finances, or court orders, without rushing or overwhelming you
• Offer emotional support and grounding tools.
Why This Matters
Abuse often takes away your sense of control. Our work is about giving it back. Through every conversation, we aim to help you feel safer in your decisions, and your future.
There’s no right time. Whether you’re in crisis or just thinking things through, we’re here. Everything you tell us is confidential, and you will never be forced to do anything you’re not ready for.
