Youth Outreach

Abuse doesn’t just happen to adults. Young people can be affected in different ways, including through dating abuse, coercive control and emotional harm.

One-to-one support with our Youth Outreach Worker

Young people can meet with our Youth Outreach Worker in a safe, private setting (e.g., school, youth centre, or community space). Support is:
-One-to-one.
-Non-judgmental.
-Confidential (within child protection guidelines).
-Tailored to each young person’s situation and needs.
We help young people talk about their relationships, understand red flags, and explore what healthy connection looks like.
🎓

Education and Awareness Workshops

We also offer interactive workshops in schools and youth groups to start honest conversations about:
-Healthy vs. unhealthy relationships – what abuse can look like and how to recognise red flags.
-Intimate image abuse & Coco’s Law – understanding the risks and legal protections.
-Consent – what it is, what it’s not, and why respect matters.

We create a safe space for young people to ask questions, challenge harmful norms, and build awareness and confidence in their relationships.

Last year alone, we worked with over 500 students aged 15–18 in schools and youth organisations across the area, including:
Glenart, Avondale Community College, St Mary’s, Killian’s, Bray Connect, Youthreach and CEART.
